Collection: Party & evening dresses

Christmas dinner, New Year’s Eve, a wedding in the diary: these are the dresses you sew once and reach for every time the invitation says “dress up”. This collection brings together our evening and party dress sewing patterns, from figure-hugging silhouettes to full ballgowns.

You’ll find long-sleeved dresses like FINELLA with its optional feather trim and GLEAM with beaded details, slim styles with a dramatic volant such as FLORET, lace dresses like GIVY with its scalloped edge, and floor-length gowns like SLENDER with a back slit. Many of the patterns work in festive fabrics such as satin, lace, velvet or wool crepe, depending on the look you want.

All patterns are digital PDF sewing patterns that you can download right after purchase, print at home on A4 or letter paper, or have printed at a copy shop. Most come in sizes 34 to 50 and include step-by-step instructions with illustrations.

Not sure which one to choose? For a first evening dress, start with a pattern marked “easy”, such as SLENDER or FINELLA. For a showpiece, try the backless ballgown or the bustier dress with bows.
